Krishna’s Love Affirmations

  1. Krishna values a relationship with me. I am valuable to Krishna.  
  2. As a father has natural love, affection and compassion for his children, Krishna has love, affection and compassion for me.
  3. Just like a father, Krishna provides me with all the necessities of life. 
  4. Just like a friend, Krishna is always with me and guides me from within.
  5. Krishna speaks the Bhagavad-gita because He loves me. He is inviting me to eternally play and dance with Him in the spiritual world.
  6. Krishna accepts my least qualification and gives me the highest reward. 
  7. Krishna’s love is so great that He became the gatekeeper of Bali Maharaja. 
  8. Krishna’s love is so great that He offered Putana the position of mother. How could I take shelter of anyone else?
  9. All of Krishna’s actions are loving; even His so-called enmity is loving.
  10. Krishna’s love is so great that even though I am unqualified, He accepts me and offers me the highest reward. 
  11. Krishna will always love me even if I don’t love Him. 
  12. Krishna’s love remains ever-increasingly beautiful.
  13. I accept Krishna’s love as His gift to me and I serve Krishna without asking anything in return. 
  14. If I try to love Krishna purely, nothing in the world can stop me; and this love is the only thing that can make me happy. 
  15. Krishna is so kind that whatever insignificant things I offer Him with love, He will accept. 
  16. I love Krishna and Krishna loves me. This is our exchange of feelings.
  17. With love for Krishna, I can see Krishna everywhere at every moment.  
  18. Through my love for Krishna, I can expand my love for everyone.
  19. Because I love Krishna, I want to see everyone in the world become Krishna conscious.
  20. Through my actions towards others, I show them that God loves them.

Krishna’s Love Exercise
Did you have any difficulty fully believing and/or accepting any of these affirmations? If so, note why. Some possible reasons are:

  1. Thinking humility means to be too fallen, useless, or contaminated for Krishna to love you.
  2. Due to low self-esteem – or another mental/emotional issue – I feel too fallen, useless or contaminated for Krishna to love me. 
  3. I think Krishna is like us, and thus He needs good reasons to love us. 
  4. I feel unworthy of being loved by Krishna, or even unworthy of being loved in general. (I am not qualified for His love.) 
  5. My previous religious training negatively affects my ability to see Krishna as an all-loving God. 
  6. I can’t reconcile the suffering in my life and the world with Krishna’s love. 
  7. I can’t believe Krishna would want a relationship with such a person as myself. 
  8. I am not ready to have a close relationship with Krishna. 
  9. I have many concerns/fears about surrendering to Krishna
  10. What, specifically, are you not accepting about yourself that Krishna , and Prabhupada and your guru(s) are accepting about you?
  11. Are there other reasons?

What must change inside of you – or what must you do – to be able to more fully accept and embrace Krishna’s loves for you and more fully reciprocate with His love?
