Train the Trainer
Srila Prabhupada said that higher than saving others is to save oneself. Self-love, therefore, is at the heart of any successful spiritual practice. Through decades of counseling and conducting workshops, it has become evident to me that a lack of self-care and compassion is at the heart of our spiritual problems.
We all agree that caring for devotees with love and compassion is important; but we all don’t understand or acknowledge that doing that for ourselves is equally essential.
